Survival Guide for the Holiday Season | Pre-Party Prep

Survival Guide for the Holiday Season | Pre-Party Prep

If you are one those people who has an endless stream of parties and events to attend, this one's for you. This pre-party prep guide is designed to help you enjoy yourself, and still get up the next day with energy and no lush regrets.

Pre-party prep:

  • Make sure you eat good healthy meals on the day of the party.  Easily digestible foods for you. Don’t eat anything heavy or rich…you’ll get enough of that at the party.  Most plant based foods and some should be raw, like salads or simply cut some vegetables.

  • Eat something healthy before you leave for the party.  It will give a good solid base for your stomach and it could help to discourage over indulging.  Keep in mind, those hors d'oeuvres taste so good because they full of fat, sugar and salt.

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate all day long.

  • Make sure you take your liver support supplement earlier that day and then take another when you arrive home, if you feel you had a little more alcohol than you should have.

  • Have a green cold pressed juice earlier that day.  I usually have mine a couple of hours before the party.  These types of juices allow fast and easy absorption of nutrients, increases energy and cognitive function.  It will also support your liver, kidneys and digestion. This is one night you’ll need all the help you can get!
